Rushmoor Borough Council

About the project

We were commissioned by Rushmoor Borough Council to create and install a series of custom notice boards for use across public parks and local beauty spots throughout the borough. These notice boards were designed to provide important information to the public while complementing the natural surroundings and overall character of each location.

The project involved developing notice boards that were both functional and durable, capable of withstanding year-round weather conditions while remaining visually appealing and easy to maintain. Each board needed to clearly display public notices, event information, and community updates, while also aligning with the council’s branding and accessibility standards.

Working from initial site surveys through to final installation, we collaborated closely with council officers to tailor each board to its environment. We provided design visuals, sourced weather-resistant materials, and ensured that all boards were constructed with longevity and security in mind. Whether installed along woodland walking trails, in busy urban parks, or near quiet green spaces, the boards had to blend into their surroundings while still being easy for visitors to notice and read.

Installation was carried out with minimal disruption to the public and with careful consideration for the local environment. Groundworks and fixing methods were adapted for each location, whether the boards were mounted on posts or installed onto existing hardstanding areas.

The finished boards are now in regular use across the borough, helping Rushmoor Borough Council to share key information with residents and visitors alike. The project has contributed to a more informed, engaged community while also enhancing the appearance and functionality of the borough’s outdoor spaces.
